Senior Accountant

You Plus is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our social gaming startup -- the company is a year old, well-funded, and already boasts the #1 app on MySpace. We're looking for an experienced accountant that is looking to take the next step in their career. WHAT YOU'LL DO: In short, you will:

* Have hands-on responsibility and participation in all aspect of accounting operations: (A/P, A/R, GL, monthly closes, financial statements preparation, internal & external financial reports)
* Oversee federal, state, and local income and business property tax compliance
* Prepare corporate income tax schedules
* Participate in budgeting process
* Generate all monthly performance and profitability reports and make recommendations 
* Provide regular cash flow projections and manage our banking relationship to provide financing for planned growth
 
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

* 3-5 years of experience in an Accounting role working in a internet micro transaction environment
* Excellent technical accounting skills with detailed understanding of current GAAP issues
* Experience designing and implementing systems and procedures
* Ability to work with management and help management understand their business
* Experienced in managing accounting processes, A/P, Revenue Recognition, Balance Sheet and Cash flow management, Account Reconciliation, Tax calculations, month end and year end close
* Experience working with accounting and financial reporting systems
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or related studies)
* CPA
* Experience with financial planning annual budgeting and financial analysis
* Strong Excel skills
